    Keep getting an error with 0.3:

    Upload failed.
    * File path: C:\testfile.rar
    * Error type: An error occurred while trying to upload the file: The file could not be transfered to server.
    * Internal info: System.ApplicationException: Login failed: MEGA returned error -9. Please check user and password.
    at MegaUploader.FileUploader.bgwUploader_DoWork(Object ender, DoWorkEventArgs e)

    My username and password are most definitely correct in the config.

    I use a 20 digit password and your programme doesn't let me insert it entirely. It lets me enter only 16 digits.

    Same problem here, i can't upload, it give me an error, i think the problem is the password, i use a password of 17 letters and it doesn't let me insert in its entirely. Please fix it.

    I have released a new version that corrects the problems with long passwords.
    If you still have problems, please go to Configuration, Advance, and select log level to "Debug".
    Retry the upload. Then go to Options, See logs. A directory will open. To to the subdirectory "Logs" and open the log for this day. Copy the content and send it to me by mail (you can find it in the "About" windows in the program).

      Please check the FAQ, under "The upload speed is not good, what can I do?" and "I have changed the Package Size and the speed is still not good!"

      Hi, normally this error comes when you put "strange" characters in the name of the file. I think you are putting chinese? japanese? characters (sorry I am ignorant about oriental languages) and that causes the error. I will check it again to see if there is something I can do on my side to prevent or correct it.

      Yes, I confirm you it works on 64 bits OS, I use a Windows 7 64bits in my home and have used it in both VPS with 32 bits and 64 bits :)

    Did you know how command looks like when we request file/folder key for certain file/folder. And if we request folder key, how to decrypt file key for files inside the folder?

      Hi!

      You have to send a petition to MEGA with this json:
      [{""a"":""f"",""c"":1,""r"":1}]

      The URL needs a GET parameter "&n=FOLDERID".

      You will receive a list of files with its info encrypted (file name and file key). Using the folder key, you can decrypt this information and get the file ID, file key, and file name of each file in the list :)

    The software is wonderful, I am using version BETA 0.7 with no functional issues. My observation is that when I upload a file with accents or symbols in its name, MegaUploader uploads it with none of them.

    For instance: "Filé with â symböl in its nàme" is uploader as "File with a symbols in its name"

      There is a problem with files whose name has strange characters (like ¿ or <<). It happened also with accents so I had to remove them. If not, in Mega the files appeared as "MALFORED_ATTRIBUTE".
      I have to correct it, when it is corrected I will update the program to a new version.

    Hi

    Using your program and seeing nice speeds. Win 7 - 64 bit. A lot faster than Chrome uploads with less memory and CPU.

    One thing I have not been able to figure out yet is how to get files to upload to targeted directories. Am I missing something? All uploads seem to go to the root of my account. I've seen the upload directory interface and it also uploads the files from the directory to the root not preserving the directory names or structures. :(

    I'll keep looking to see if I can figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

      Hi, thanks for your comments, unfortunately this feature is not implemented, all files go to the root. I will implement it in the future (however due to personal circunstancies I have little free time).

      Hi, MEGA is giving errors from the last weeks, try uploading via web, most probably you will get the same error. See also

    I tried to upload a directory that contains sub-directories but this does not keep directory structure, it only upload all files and put them together. Hope this will be fixed in next version. thanks for all

    Hi,
    a couple of things:
    If would be nice if the program were truly portable, and by that also mean that if I move the folders from c:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\MegaUploader\ to the current MegaUploader folder, the program should start using them and not recreate them elsewhere.

    And why does the program generate those folders anyway if I don't accept the license on the first start?

      Megauploader have stopped working here. It does not upload.
      However Megasync works, so it is not a problem with their servers.
      Please developer, can you look into this.

      It stopped worked because MEGA is removing SSL3 so I had to switch to TTL, now it works again.

      Joao, you can download the source code and see it doesn't contain any virus or trojan, but I compress it with a tool that causes many antivirus detect it as a malware (because many viruses and trojans uses this kind of compression to hide). But Megauploader is 100% clean. If not, download the source code, review it, and compile it.

      I am trying to re-upload it again, meanwhile use rapidgator mirror. Someone reported megauploader link 100 times and "my accout has been suspended over repeated allegations of copyright infringement". I am trying to restore it, if not I will upload it again to another accout :/

      src are for v0.82 and v0.8, not the current ones. Didn't pay much attention earlier to Multimedia library feature, but it saved me any modding to your code. Actual thumbnails of the video files(by partial fetching) and check-box delete option in the multimedia library manage would be a welcome addition in future releases.
      Also, are you using your own key to access the API, or simply spoofing a browser? I'm asking this because I wonder if the recent suspension of your account had anything to do with umm...maybe "overuse" of the key.

      MU uses that URL to check if there is a new version of the program. No personal data is sent, just the auto update check.

      Exclude the file in the AV. MU is clean so there is no reason the AV blocks it :(
